Every hobby box in the highly anticipated release of 2009 Donruss Threads football, available nationwide today, will now include four hits. The majority of Thread boxes will contain two autographs and two memorabilia cards.
Highlighting the program is the return of Rookie Class Rookie Cards that feature autographed nameplates. Rookie Class autographs, sequentially numbered to 399 or less (based on the players last name), will fall nearly twice as frequently as last year, offering up to eight hits per 12-box hobby case. The popular painted Gridiron Kings insert set will also make its return. Featuring some of the game’s top NFL and college legends, Gridiron Kings highlights players like Jerry Rice, Jim Brown, Joe Namath and Steve Young in the Pro version while Aaron Curry, Mark Sanchez and Matthew Stafford debut in the collegiate version.
The program culminates with the return of Brett Favre and his first appearance as a Minnesota Viking. 4,444 of this limited base card, will be inserted exclusively into Target and Wal-Mart blaster boxes and retail packs.
