The launch of Playoff Absolute is always one of the most anticipated of the year. Playoff Absolute also offers the first material rookie cards in the industry, BUT this year Donruss has added something to the RC's that is sure to make them burn up Hot Lists - Autographs.
Officials at Donruss have confirmed that this year's Playoff Absolute Rookie Cards will be autographed and serial-numbered out of 299. The cards contain three swatches of event-used memorabilia (one swatch of home jersey, one swatch of away jersey and one swatch of football) worn at this year's NFL Rookie Photo Shoot. The photography shown on the card is also from the NFL Rookie Photo Shoot.
"Playoff Absolute has always been a brand loaded with value and unique swatch/autograph combinations," said Donruss' Carlos Torrez. "By adding more value (with the autograph) on the Rookie Cards, we feel that Absolute will be in the running for product of the year yet again."
Playoff Absolute contains 34 of the Rookie Cards serial-numbered to 299.
Each Hobby box contains four packs and each four-card pack will carry a $40.00 SRP.
