ARLINGTON, TX - Stuntman and superstar Jackie Chan will be one of the few international celebrities to be featured in Donruss Americana II. Chan's influence on American pop culture as one of the most well known martial artists in the world makes him a perfect fit in Americana II.
Chan has achieved a cult following in the United States with his unique brand of action comedy movies where he performs most of his own stunts. He has starred in all three Rush Hour movies with Chris Tucker as well as the two Shanghai Noon movies with Owen Wilson. Most recently, Chan was in The Forbidden Kingdom with fellow Chinese actor Jet Li and provided his voice talents in this summer's Kung Fu Panda. Chan has his own video game and Saturday morning cartoon series, as well as being the inspiration for characters in Dragon Ball and Pokémon. He also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and holds the Guinness World Record for "Most Stunts by a Living Actor."
In addition to being a part of Americana II's base set, Chan will also be featured in the Cinema Stars subset. Lucky fans will be able to collect memorabilia cards with a swatch of clothing from Chan's own wardrobe or a card featuring his signature, or even both on one card.
Donruss Americana II releases July 16, 2008 and retails for $40.00 per pack. Each pack guarantees one autograph or memorabilia card.
