Arlington-based Donruss Playoff captures eight Best of Awards
DALLAS --- Beckett Football, the leader in sports collectibles, is pleased to announce that Donruss Playoff won the following "Best of 2007" awards. The categories in the Readers' Choice designation were chosen by readers of both the print and online editions of Beckett Football. Thousands of votes were cast during the month of April. The Editors' Choice designation was chosen by the magazine and price guide editors.
"This makes two Product of the Year awards for Playoff National Treasures—last year's Readers' Choice Product of the Year," says Beckett Football editor David Lee. "The Rookie Cards improved greatly with on-card autographs and oversized patch swatches. The amount of debut memorabilia cards for legends such as Tom Landry and Hank Stram raised the bar for National Treasures. It's the deepest, most creatively crafted retired-player football card product ever produced."
As a winner, Donruss Playoff may use the category titles and logo/trophy marks on its website, in press releases and on product packaging as it relates to the specific product lines.
