Steve Guttenberg, Jason Taylor & Shannon Elizabeth: Dancing with Donruss
February 25, 2008

Steve Guttenberg showed us he could do comedy in Police Academy. Steve showed us he could do drama in Cocoon. He can even do both at the same time like he did in Three Men & A Baby (directed by fellow Americana veteran, Leonard Nimoy). Now Steve will show us something that we've never seen him do before: dance, dance, and dance! And it's not just any dancing he'll be doing; he'll be doing it in style on season six of Dancing with the Stars.

Steve isn't the first celebrity from Donruss Americana to be featured on the show. Mr. Las Vegas, Wayne Newton, joined the dance off in season five and former diva Stacy Keibler, who has done public signings for Donruss Americana, took third place in season three of the show.

Shannon Elizabeth is no stranger to being on a trading card. In fact, she made her hobby debut back in 2004 in the product Donruss Throwback Threads. In what has become one of the most popular inserts of all-time, Fans of the Game, the cards paired celebrities with their favorite sports teams. Elizabeth signed autographs on a card that featured the logo of her favorite team, the Boston Red Sox.

Donruss is no stranger to the NFL and has included the NFL's Man of the Year, Jason Taylor, in many of its products. The six-time All Pro has made numerous headlines off the field serving the South Florida community while playing defense for the Miami Dolphins.

Speaking of the NFL, if you want to collect a Dancing with the Stars winner then you need to take a look at what Donruss has done with Emmitt Smith. The former Cowboys great had the greatest career an NFL running back has ever had. He passed Walter Payton to become the NFL's All-Time Leading Rusher and is the NFL's career rushing touchdowns leader with 164. He won four rushing titles and was the first person to rush for 1,000 yards in 11 consecutive seasons. He also holds 58 school records at the University of Florida. Donruss produced his most valuable Rookie Card to date and recently hooked-up with the Cowboys great to sign trading cards for 2007 Playoff National Treasures.

Be sure to root for Steve, Shannon and Jason in March. Remember, the better Steve does in the competition, the more valuable your Americana collection becomes!
