Donruss Creates Undefeated Patriots Card For Super Bowl

The 17th annual NFL Experience is set to begin this weekend in Phoenix, Arizona adjacent to the University of Phoenix Stadium. As part of the week long festivities, officials at Donruss will once again be handing out trading cards throughout the week.

The New England Patriots have a shot at becoming the second team in NFL history to run the table and go undefeated when they take on the New York Giants Super Bowl Sunday. The Patriots finished the regular season 16-0 and joined the 1972 Miami Dolphins as the only team to finish the season unbeaten.

Donruss has created a special trading card to commemorate the impressive accomplishment. The Donruss Playoff Special Edition card has an image of NFL MVP Tom Brady on the front, as well as offensive standouts Randy Moss and Wes Welker. The statistics on the back pay tribute to some of the top offensive and defensive stats from the record breaking year. The trading cards will be available free to those visiting the Donruss booth at the NFL Experience.

The Special Edition card is part of an award winners set that was produced specifically for the NFL Experience. The cards were quickly created as the winners were announced and include the NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year Tom Brady. Rounding out the set includes Defensive Player of the Year Bob Sanders, Offensive Rookie of the Year Adrian Peterson, Defensive Rookie of the Year Patrick Willis and Comeback Player of the Year Greg Ellis.
