Donruss Unveils Super Bowl Plans

Officials at Donruss will once again be handing out FREE trading cards in Phoenix, Arizona, the site of this year's NFL Super Bowl. Donruss has a week full of fun activities planned at their corporate booth.

The NFL trading card redemption program returns this year and highlights the home team Arizona Cardinals. Donruss has produced four different Cardinals cards for the event that will be available via wrapper redemption. Collectors can bring three un-opened packs of any 2007 Donruss product to their booth to receive one of the following redemption cards:

Arizona Cardinals:

#9 - Karlos Dansby
#10 - Matt Leinart
#11 - Anquan Bolin
#12 - Larry Fitzgerald

Donruss will also be bringing their impressive prize wheel to the event, giving collectors the chance at FREE trading cards. The wheel stands approximately 10 feet tall and spots on the wheel will designate which trading cards will be awarded. The cards will use the NFL Playoffs design and feature the official Super Bowl XLII logo on the front. The following 12-card set will be available to collectors:

  • Vince Young - Tennessee Titans
  • Brett Favre - Green Bay Packers
  • Tony Romo - Dallas Cowboys
  • Peyton Manning - Indianapolis Colts
  • Randy Moss - New England Patriots
  • Ben Roethlisberger - Pittsburgh Steelers
  • LaDainian Tomlinson - San Diego Chargers
  • Brian Urlacher - Chicago Bears
  • Brady Quinn - Cleveland Browns
  • Calvin Johnson - Detroit Lions
  • Adrian Peterson - Minnesota Vikings
  • Reggie Bush - New Orleans Saints.

One spot on the wheel will be the grand prize, a complete NFL trading card set highlighting this year's post-season award winners. The cards were quickly created as the award winners were announced.

The 6-card set will feature the follow cards:

NFL MVP - Tom Brady, New England Patriots
NFL Offensive Player of the Year - Tom Brady, New England Patriots
NFL Defensive Player of the Year - Bob Sanders, Indianapolis Colts
NFL Offensive Rookie of Year Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings
NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Patrick Willis, San Francisco 49ers
NFL Comeback Player of the Year TBD
