Clearly, there’s a lot you can showcase in booklet-card format that might not translate quite the same on a standard 2 1/12 by 3 1/2-inch trading card format.
That’s certainly been the case with Panini America’s Preferred Basketball. The product’s recipe of offering one booklet card in every four-card box generated some of the coolest, display-worthy trading card works of art in the sports card industry in recent years. That trend promises to continue when 2013-14 Preferred Basketball officially releases tomorrow.
