John Beck To Start Sunday
November 14, 2007

In an effort to turn their season around, the winless Dolphins have decided to start rookie John Beck on Sunday versus the Philadelphia Eagles. Beck is the second rookie QB from this year's draft class to start a game this season, Trent Edwards started earlier in the year for Buffalo.

Beck earned Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year honors after he threw for 3,885 yards and 32 touchdowns for BYU in 2006. The 'phins then made him the highest drafted QB since Dan Marino. It will be up to Beck to turn the team around and get them into the win column.
