ARLINGTON - In a Monday night match-up of Super Bowl XLI, the Chicago Bears took out the defending World Champion Indianapolis Colts 27-24. The fans and players stayed dry this time under the roof of the RCA Dome, making it a comfortable environment for the city of Indianapolis to watch their team for the first time since hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.
It was also the first chance collectors had to pick- up their Donruss - Indianapolis Colts trading cards.
For the second year in a row, Donruss Trading Card Company will be teaming up with the Indianapolis Colts to produce a 10-card limited edition team set. The set will again be sponsored by The Indianapolis Star and be distributed at and around the RCA Dome during home games throughout the 2007 season.
One player cards will be available at each home game, with Dallas Clark being the first in the series - as his card was available at the preseason home opener against the Bears. The cards measure 5" x 7" and contain an advertisement to get a FREE Colts hat if you sign up for their new EZ Pay subscription service. The cards will be limited to the first 5,000 fans that drop by the Indianapolis Star booth and pick-up a newspaper.
