2006 LRS "Kickoff Classic" Target® Winners Announced

Officials at Donruss Playoff recently announced the winners of the 2006 Leaf Rookies and Stars "Kickoff Classic" Promotion. The promotion, held exclusively at Target® stores across the country, will send two grand prize winners to an Opening Day game of their choice.

The launched featured a 10-card set randomly inserted into Target® blaster boxes with the official "Kickoff Classic" logo on the front. The players were Brett Favre, Ben Roethlisberger, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Shaun Alexander, LaDainian Tomlinson, Larry Johnson, Ronnie Brown and "Cadillac" Williams.

The grand prize winners, Richard Wood of Conroe Texas and Wanda June Snyder of Springfield Missouri, were both contact and told their names were the lucky one's drawn for the contest. "This was our second big promotion of the year and once again we were overwhelmed at the number of entries we received from this Target® promotion," said Donruss Playoff Marketing Director Scott Prusha. "Both winners were loyal Donruss collectors and were extremely excited to have won."

Each of the grand prize winners will fly with a guest to a game of their choice and receive trading card and collectible prizes from the company.

The 10 first place winners will receive a signed 8 x 10 from one of the top rookies of the '06 draft class. Signed photographs being awarded include Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart, Vince Young and Jay Cutler. Each of the 25 second place winners will receive a 2006 Score factory set.
