Panini America Bringing National Treasures to Baseball? The Great Dale Murphy Knows.

It’s not every day that a legendary baseball player the likes of Dale Murphy breaks a big news story in the sports card world. But that’s exactly what the former Atlanta Braves slugger and two-time NL MVP did last week. Turns out the four-time Silver Slugger Award winner with 398 career home runs and 1,266 RBI is every bit as powerful with social media as he was at the plate.

After all, it took less than 140 characters earlier this month for Murphy to announce to the collecting world that Panini America’s super-premium juggernaut, National Treasures, would soon be making the long-awaited transition to the diamond.
