A proud, powerful name from the hobby’s distant past is about to make its presence felt in a whole new arena. Spoiler alert: The Select brand is crossing over to basketball — and it will do so with a huge assist from Panini America’s wildly popular Prizm printing technology.

2012-13 Prizm Basketball will arrive in late March packaged as two seven-pack inner boxes within each 14-pack box that will deliver four autographs, four new-design Prizms and six additional inserts. Select also continues Panini America’s massive and historic Double Rookie Class with a 100-card hard-signed RC subset featuring players from both the 2011 and 2012 draft classes.
